Lấp Vò is a rural district (''huyện'') of Đồng Tháp Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 180,431.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Districts of Vietnam )〕 The district covers an area of 244 km². The district capital lies at Lấp Vò town. It borders Long Xuyên of An Giang Province at Vàm Cống ferry, which is one of a few full-size heavy-duty ferry services left in Mekong delta. From the Vàm Cống ferry, it is accessible to reach Sa Đéc on local bus route 666 with first bus at 5am and last one bound for Sa Đéc at 615pm.
